Quarantine
Of Fates & Fables (The Complete Series)Quarantine appears in the title Quarantine Crush, which places a story about an impulsive romantic challenge in a quarantine context. The available description does not specify who is quarantined, why, or how isolation shapes daily life; its focus is Embry’s decision to act on her feelings for Knox.
Quarantine as a Story Frame
The title Quarantine Crush links quarantine with a romantic premise, but the blurb supplies no details about the quarantine’s cause, duration, rules, or practical consequences. The state therefore remains a framing condition rather than a fully described experience in the available text.
The Challenge and Its Interruption
Embry sees an opportunity to kiss her friend Knox after Hadley forwards her a video of the Shoot Your Shot Challenge, an internet trend encouraging women to kiss their best friends. The phrase “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” appears on Embry’s shot glass and feels to her like a sign to take the risk. Her attempt is interrupted by Knox, turning the challenge into a comic romantic complication rather than a completed confession.
